The answer to the above-mentioned questions, and similar ones, lies in collectively developed management principles. They are intended to motivate the management team to focus their leadership roles and orient them towards the workforce.
We bring together executives from all areas of the company with the help of large groups such as the World Café, open space or appreciative inquiry. Divided into partly rolling groups in different group rooms and jointly in the conference hall, the executives deduce their leadership principles bit by bit from the strategic objectives.
The idea is to promote the collective knowledge of the management team in a relaxed and open atmosphere and to use informal discussion principles. At the end of two or three days, specific management principles have been established for all strategic objectives. Furthermore: the leaders commit themselves to these principles. The first step has been taken - and the next follows: communication to the workforce and the public.
